IRS Accepts Offer in Compromise for Nearly $50K Less Than Original Debt

Attorney Stuart Lee Sherman submitted an offer in compromise to the IRS on behalf of a client that owed in excess of $65,000. The IRS accepted an offer in the amount of $18,000, saving Sherman’s client nearly $50,000.
